So, after rescheudling for weather and the boys getting sick we were finally able to get their photos taken on Sunday morning at Poinsett State Park. It was nice and cool still and the lighting was awesome! Thanks everyone for being so great!

Antonia came in at 5 days old to do her first portraits…well, let me tell you, I’ve never had one so young NOT want to sleep! I guess being born on the 4th of July sure made her a firecracker! :-) Got some great images though and even Big Sis and the rest of teh family got in on the photos. Enjoy!

This was such a fun family to photograph the other weekend…lots of laughs and picking on each other. It’s probably a good thing thaty they live in differnt states so they don’t kill each other with the picking. haha! Anyways, Mom and Dad came to Sumter to celebrate their 50th anniversary with their children. Sumter happened to be the home of their one daughter, Jennifer, and we midway between the other children. It was such a great time for them all.

Well, William survived the ants and we all survived the humidy morning for some great images out near Salem Black River Church. I figured 8:30 in the morning would be fine but oh no…the sun was high over head already and the sweat was pouring but we did it…and got some great images too! And to top it all off we got to see a cute White Tail deer.

Sweet little Ainsley, she was such a trooper but boy was it hard to get some smiles from her. But she wasn’t feeling too good the day before and that night she had a fever so I just feel bad for the little one but she’s feeling better now. Still, we had some great weather and some great locations. Thank you Ainsley for being such a great model!

Memorial weekend was a great time for family to get together and I had a great time out at Santee photographing Ms. Barber and all her children, grands and great grands. We we so worried about the weather with storm clouds off in the distance but it held off and actually gave us a great sky, not to mention great lighting! Thank you all for such a wonderful time!

Rahko came in for his second session and did some “Mommy and Me” portraits. He was so go and crawled all over the bed. But towards the end he was finished and gave us some more crocodile tears. haha! Such a cutie! Can’t wait to see you grow!

Susan brought her parents in a few weeks back with her brother when they all came to town to visit so that they might have some great images together. Here are just a few of my favs.

Last week I got to meet LaShana and George for a couples session and they surprised his Mother by having her join in some. I’ve never had someone tear up during the session, it’s always after when they see the images, but Mama was so happy to being able to see her son and wife and the sweetness of the poses, she needed a few tissues. It’s was so humbling to know that someone could be touched by my work…
